Sunesis is developing three drugs for treatment of various types of cancers. Phase 1 studies are focused on an initial assessment of the safety of each investigational drug. Most of the patients who participate in our Phase 1 studies have received several different treatments before enrolling. Our Phase 2 programs are focused typically on a specific type of cancer and usually have more restrictions on the types and numbers of prior cancer treatments.
